The Iceman cometh...

Cool, quick, dominating...racing world take notice, the dawn of a new era and new champion is upon us, as all the ingredients are in place for Kimi Raikkonen to own Formula One for the forseeable future. Today at Monaco he led from start to finish, and left the excitement for those in the middle of the pack.

Alonso still has a commanding lead in the points for the Championship, but that will just make the 8 races in the next 10 weeks even more exciting! Be sure and check out much more info and race reports at one of my favorite F1 sites, www.pitpass.com .

Stay tuned...(and I hope to see you at Indy next month!)

BAR's tactical ploy of distraction...

"...lookie here, we aren't hiding anything, honest" Posted by Hello

Kimi Conquers Spain!

What a flawless performance by the "soon to be" World Champion! Ok, maybe that is just a little bit presumptuous (did I spell that right?;) ... but Kimi Raikkonen is one of the best drivers this sport has seen in awhile, and that's not just my humble opinion.

Sure, Alonso and Renault have been on fire, and Schumacher and Ferarri have finally realized they are not in Kansas anymore, but for the past month Kimi and McLaren have been on a "whole-nother" level! Take away that little drive shaft mishap (Imola) and the domination would be that much more apparent.

Monaco will be interesting, we might even see David Coulthard and Red Bull make the podium, alongside Rubens Barrichello! A mighty bold prediction, but patience and experience
will play a hand in the outcome.

I kinda like Michael starting down in the middle of the pack, and then using some clever pit strategy to magically appear at the top...but somehow I don't think that will work in Monaco.

You know, even a bigger controversy than the BAR hidden fuel tank scandal, would be Ferrari "disguising" a complete set of Michelins to look like Bridgestones!!! Now, other than offending Bridgestone, that wouldn't be against the rules would it???
